The Nation’s Worst — and Best — Drivers

Posted By Administration, Tuesday, July 11, 2017

Allstate does the annual Allstate America's Best Drivers Report. It takes a look at the driving habits in the nation’s 200 largest cities and the metropolitan areas that surround them. The report’s data comes from the average number of years between claims, the claims likelihood when compared to the national average and the hard braking numbers per 1,000 miles driven.

The report says the average driver will experience a collision every 10 years and 94% of all collisions are caused by preventable human factors.

Sadly, two PIA Western Alliance state cities — Glendale and Los Angeles, California — are in the top 10 cities with the nation’s worst drivers.
