Lisa LeBlanc, CIC
Earning the CIC designation has represented the accomplishment of a career goal! The rewards of the CIC program have been an increased knowledge, perspectives of all sides to the insurance industry, developing relationships with other insurance professionals and access to new programs that will keep my education on its' toes. Transitioning from the legal field, my insurance career started in 2008 as an assistant to my parents. Since that time, my role has expanded to include community involvement, personal lines management, operation management and partnering with a team of 15. Insurance and management are not careers for the faint of heart so balance is important to keep the motivation! Balance includes traveling, home improvement projects, fitness and enjoying our community partnerships and church.
Paul Roberts, CIC, CISR, AINS, AIS, API
To me the CISR designation is one that shows you know the insurance industry at a level where the rubber meets the road. You are able to demonstrate how an insurance policy is supposed to work and better help the client find a solution for their unique situation. With every class I have taken, there have been items of inspiration/knowledge I have gained and added to my daily work of providing personal insurance. It is with pleasure I call myself a member of the CISR club of insurance agents and am excited to help other insurance professionals obtain this designation too.
Paul is a Producer/Insurance Agent for PEMCO Insurance Agency, the standard to high risk agency for PEMCO Insurance Company. PEMCO is a local northwest mutual insurance company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, offering personal insurance policies to Oregon and Washington residents. Paul has been in the insurance industry since 1998 and promoted through the roles of Direct Sales, Casualty Adjuster, Sales Trainer, and Field Insurance Agent. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, earned his CIC designation in 2006, CISR designation in 2017 and is currently working on the CPCU designation.
Paul considers himself a personal insurance geek and enjoys the challenge of finding insurance for those hard to place policies including flood and landslide. When not thinking about insurance, he enjoys spending time with his bride of 21 years, going to his daughters' band competitions and summer camps, volunteering at his local church congregation, and is learning to fish near his home in Spokane, Washington.
