Nicole Broch

Nicole Broch, CIC, CISR, PLCS

Nicole Broch spent over a decade as an Independent Insturance and manager of a successful partnership between a community financial institution and a local independent agency in Springfield Illinois. She attended the Hartford School of Insurance and achieved her National Underwriter awarded Personal Lines Coverage Specialists (PLCS) designation in 2005. She wen on to receive the National Alliance CISR designation in 2007 and CIC designation in 2009. Nicole's business focus is the ethical sales and service of personal lines, small commercial and small first and agri-tourism products.

Nicole teaches National Alliance CISR Modules, Errors & Omissions, Ethics and customer service and professional development topics. She frequently teaches for the IIAI as well as other IIA's and PIAs, insurance carriers, and trade associations throughout the country. Nicole is actively involved in all levels of the IAIP, International Association of Insurance Professionals, the Greenview Community Improvement Associatopn and other community Boards and committees.

Just because a business is conducted out of an insured’s home does not necessarily afford it coverage under the Homeowners Policy forms. Home Business vs Homeowners Insurance looks to the un-endorsed ISO Homeowners forms for coverage, exclusions, and available endorsements.  Agents and servicers who understand the limits of the homeowners forms and ask the right risk analysis questions of their clients will help prevent errors and omissions claims, increase customer retention, and add value to their clients’ insurance portfolios.
