The PIA MAP program can provide your agency with a huge competitive advantage. The PIA MAP Multi Rater is a very powerful software program designed to assist you in writing business in the PIA MAP program. Like all software programs, in order to unleash its full potential you need to know how to use it to its fullest potential. Seminars are held twice a month, the 2nd Thursday for Personal Lines and 3rd Thursday for Commercial Lines.

The PIA Market Access Program (MAP) provides PIA member agents with fast and easy access to preferred commercial lines from “A” rated (or better) admitted carriers offering competitive pricing and excellent commissions.  MAP lets you research, quote, write, and manage your business (all online) while our experienced underwriting and customer service team provides you with responsive, quality service you need. There is no minimum written premium to qualify.

1. Join the PIA Click here to join
2. Complete the Limited Agency Agreement Click here
3. Click on your state to download and complete the required Affiliation Form: CA, ID  NM, NV, OR, WA.
     The following states do not require an Affiliation Form: AK, AZ, & MT
4. Provide PIA with a copy of your E&O Dec page and a copy of the agency and producer license for each state you wish to write in.

6. Read the commission schedule

Market Access Program (MAP) Agents wishing to access the PIA Market Access Program for personal lines must purchase the personal lines multi rater and must pay by credit card. The fee is $65 per month per login. Agencies wishing to access the MAP for commercial lines do not need to purchase the multi rater but will be charged a $25 transaction fee for each new bound policy under $1000. However, agents using the multi rater for commercial lines will not be charged the transaction fee.
