It’s been two years since the members of PIA Oregon/Idaho have been together as a group. In a bit over two weeks we’ll connect again.

BTW, PIA Washington/Alaska members and members of other PIA Western Alliance states are welcome to join us for a day of golf. It’s a unique kind of golf — but more on that in a bit — but golf, nonetheless.

Another BTW before we move on. Non-PIA members are also welcome to attend the event and get familiar with the PIA. Staff members are there to answer any and all questions.

They’ll also be there to sign you up because membership in the PIA — as you’ll see in another story in this week’s Weekly Industry News issue — has a multitude of important benefits for you and your agency.

PIA Oregon/Idaho’s chapter leadership thought it’s too soon after the pandemic has more or less ended and bit premature to do a full three day event. So a one day golf event is the compromise.

It’s a Top Golf in Hillsboro, Oregon. The event starts at noon. Here’s the agenda:

12:00 noon — Meet and Greet

12:30 — Lunch

1:00 — General Session and Industry Awards —    Agent of the Year, Company Person of the Year, Blinders Award for Underwriter of the year

2:30 — Golf Tournament Warmup

3:00 – 4:30 — Golf Tournament

4:30 – 5:30 — Golf Tournament Awards

At Top Golf you play a round of golf from a bay. No going from green to green. It’s a high tech game that — if you’ve never played — is a lot of fun. Here’s a link to give you a little more information on what to expect.
