CPIA Advanced Personal Lines Update Valid for 7 CE MT
As a CPIA designee, this course will allow you to maintain your CPIA designation with fresh new material by combining two distinct topics to enhance the professionalism and sales excellence of today's personal lines customer service agent. Review current causes of E&O omissions and the importance of internal agency controls to minimize loss and claims. Review personal lines questionnaires that cover in depth exposures including dwelling limits, property not covered, other structures limits and loss of use along with Personal Liability from volunteer activities, workers comp exposures and other attractive hazards to personal auto and umbrella and Life and Health exposures. It's a full day of in depth E&O knowledge.
CPIA 1 — Position for Success Valid for 7 CE MT
The CPIA program encompasses three-day long sessions toward earning the designation, Certified Professional Insurance Agent.
This is hands on training at it's best by enhancing the ability of producers, sales support staff and company personnel to efficiently create and distribution effective insurance programs. CPIA 1 participants are encouraged to focus on internal and external factors affecting the development of effective business plans. Factors discussed include a review of the state of insurance marketplace, analysis of competitive pressures, necessary insurance carrier underwriting criteria and consumer expectations. Get insight on good sales techniques while applying E&O standards and professionalism.
Traps and Tricks of P&C Insurance Valid for 3 CE MT
Errors and Omissions allegations are on the increase. The risk of agency defense against allegations brought by Insured's, Insurance Companies and Third parties. It's the reality of the property and casualty purchasing climate today.
This session will offer solutions based upon sound agency loss control practices and what employees and independent contractors at every level can do to prevent E&O allegations. Get a Checklist for Deposition and includes sample letters, practices and procedures.
Surety Bonding Basics Valid for 3 CE MT
Have you ever wondered what Surety Bonds are all about? Gain a basic understanding of the various types of surety bonding and the requirements for each type of bond. Included will be discussion on the Small Contractor Program and subdivision Bonds, their limits and requirements. Learn how to communicate to your clients and surety markets the right way to meet the needs of the applicant and the surety. Tracy will take the mystery out of it and help agents be more approachable who may only deal with occasional surety needs.
