Though we aren’t that deep into Spring, Summer is on the way and if you haven’t planned this year’s vacation yet and are looking for ideas, here are some to consider. It’s not often an easy decision.
As you know, cost and safety are among the concerns.
U.S. News & World Report wants to help you pick somewhere to go. The publication just released its annual list of the best places to go. The title of the advice is The Best Summer Vacations in the USA.
And then to help even more, the publication put out other rankings:
• The Best Cheap Summer Vacations
• The Best Summer Vacations
• The Best Family Beach Vacations in the USA
The advice also adds the need to make sure you are insured on whatever vacation you decide to take. We’re in the industry and know that but a lot of people don’t. You could share this with your clients and remind them that they may need insurance different from what they have when they’re traveling.
That aside, U.S. News looked at more than 700 destinations and checked in with experts and editors. The criteria had 10 categories including sights, culture, food, nightlife, adventure and romance.
In the U.S. two PIA Western Alliance state of Oregon cities are in the top-5. Worldwide, one of the Oregon cities made the cut. For cheap vacations two of PIA Western Alliance states — New Mexico and Arizona — made the top-5 list.
