Educating Consumers on Earthquake Insurance — A 5 Minute Survey

CREW (Cascadia Region Earthquake Workgroup) needs insurance agents in the Western states to take a 5-minute survey about your role in educating consumers about earthquake insurance.

Your responses will help emergency managers and earthquake preparedness professionals engage more effectively with insurance agents and consumers, and to design successful disaster preparedness messaging and public education campaigns.

The PIA Western Alliance encourages you to take the 5-minute survey. Click this link to take the survey: https://srvy.onl/agents-eq-insurance-crew

CREW emphasizes that your responses will be anonymous. The survey will remain open until May 8. Soon after the May 8 deadline, CREW will post a report of the results on the survey project page.

Funding for the survey project is provided by a grant from FEMA’s National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program.

The survey has been going for a month and so far 717 responses have been tabulated. Most are from Oregon, Washington and California.
