One Month and Counting from PIA Oregon’s First In-Person Event Since COVID

For PIA Oregon/Idaho this is not a conference per-se, but it is an event focused on agents and company representatives connecting in person. The association’s board of directors was uncertain about leaping into an all-out conference after two-years of COVID.

So it opted for a really fun compromise and titled the event, Getting Back into the Swing of Things.

The swing equates to golf. Well, let’s call it golf with a twist. So on July 14 — about a month from now — agents and company reps from all over the Northwest will gather in Hillsboro, Oregon’s Topgolf and play golf.

Here’s the agenda:

12:00 noon — Meet and Greet

12:30 — Lunch

1:00 — the General Session and Industry Awards

2:30 — Golf Tournament Warmup

3:00 – 4:30 — Golf Tournament

4:30 – 5:30 — Golf Tournament Awards

The PIA of Oregon and Idaho is also seeking nominations for our annual awards for those considered to be the best of the industry’s best. As an association, you are an amazing group of people. You do incredible things for your industry, for your communities and for each other.

Company Person of the Year: All PIA member company employees are eligible for this award,

including marketing and claims representatives, managers and others.

Blinders Award: This award is given to an underwriter who operates with positive and effective under-writing techniques despite distractions and interference form the insurance world.
