Annual PIA Montana Conference — October 8 - 10

Published September 9, 2025 at 2:10 PM · News Releases and Bulletins

The annual PIA Montana conference will be held at the Helena Colonial in Helena on October 9th and 10th. This year’s conference will have CPIA designation classes 2 and 3, CE courses, plus networking with exhibitors and colleagues.

For early birds, there is a welcome reception at the hotel on October 8th. You will do dinner on your own.

Here’s the agenda: Thursday, October 9th

Registration and Breakfast with Exhibitors.

Concurrent Sessions 9:00 am - 12:00 pm:

CPIA 2 - Implement for Success: 7 CE, MT - speaker, Ken Hauk

The CPIA classes focus on:

tools for analyzing consumer needs

risk identification techniques

skills to assimilate information into coverage

how to prepare a complete submission

tips for preparing and presenting a proposal

By the way, earning the designation with PIA is easy. Attend 3 modules. That's it. We started with CPIA 1 last year and now are bringing CPIA 2 and 3 this year so you can earn the designation or you can take one of our webinars to complete the process. The best part?

There is no testing.

Anyone can attend CPIA and receive 7 CE Credits in Montana. Check here for the latest CE credit availability for your state and join us! Continuing Education By State for CPIA Seminars (aimssociety.org)
