California Earthquakes have People Trying to get Earthquake Insurance

A series of earthquakes in California have sent people scrambling to pick up earthquake insurance. The quakes have people panicking that the “Big One” may be on the way. In the next 30 years earthquake experts say the odds is 99% for a 6.7 or greater quake hitting the Souther California from one of the 15,000 fault lines.
Some brokers are reporting a 700% increase in calls wanting earthquake insurance. Ara Muradyan is the founder of EarthquakeAgent.com. He said most people don’t realize their homeowners insurance doesn’t cover earthquake damage.
