The 2024 PIA Oregon Conference is set in Hood River, one of the most beautiful towns in the gorgeous Columbia Gorge. It will be at the Best Western Plus Hood River Inn in the heart of Hood River.

The inn has a beautiful setting that combines water and mountain views in the heart of Hood River.

We are hosting two panel discussions that will have you thinking long and hard about how you run your agency in these hard times and how to do a better job of leveraging your business with emerging technology.

Wednesday is golf day at the beautiful Indian Creek Golf Course. We will end the day with a Welcome Reception at the hotel's outdoor patio.

Here's what's is in store on Thursday.

Breakfast will be available to anyone that comes in the night before. 

Insure Tech Panel - Everything AI and more: Our panelists are made up of industry professionals that can speak to the rapid changes happening in the insurance tech world.

Awards Lunch: Take a break as we gather to recognize the best in the industry. If you haven't submitted your nomination, there is still time to do so here.  We want to hear from you!

Conversations for Impact: This is a larger panel where we have meeting of the minds between insurance agents and professionals from different sectors of the industry including Human Resources, Agency Management, Agency Sales and Retention, Technology, and agent panelists from different backgrounds to share their experiences.  The idea here is to share and identify what is working for you and your agency and what isn't. We expect to have tangible takeaway's.

Happy Hour with Exhibitors: Our vendors are available throughout the day. Stop by their display on breaks and while having a beverage after our day together. Prize drawings will take place around 4:30.

Wine/Cider Walk:  Hood River is known for their wine, cider, and ale houses.

Friday begins where we left off with panel discussions with breakfast with Dan Weedin. Dan is a well known motivational speaker and will be speaking on Being Resilient Through Disruption.

We will close Friday with CE and speaker Kathy Fraley, CIC, CPIW.  As some of you know, Kathy lost her home in the Gray Wildfire this past August. Kathy has formulated an outline approved for 3 CE in Oregon based her experience as a claimant.  Her session: Are Your Clients Ready for the Next Disaster? Preparing Your Clients for After the Fact will be a session you won't want to miss!
