The Axios/Ipsos American Health Index survey is out. As COVID cases have increased this summer, so has the worry. The survey says 33% of those contacted think COVID is still a big, or medium risk, to their health.
That’s up from 27% in the June survey.
- 21% of those surveyed said they’d taken a home COVID test that week
- That’s up from 17% in June
- A high percentage still think COVID still poses a health risk to them, just 13% still wear masks
That said, 52% belive the pandemic is over. However, though this country went through a couple of bad years because of COVID, just 35% think officials in the U.S. are prepared to take care of another crisis.
All that said, 35% of those surveyed also see the flu and other illnesses affecting the respiratory system as being a large or moderate risk to their health.
