The Agent of the Year Award is the PIA’s way of saying thank you and recognizing that special individual whose accomplishments exemplify the best qualities an independent insurance agent can possess: integrity, dedication and commitment to the members and goals of the PIA. As an organization, we offer no greater recognition than the PIA Agent of the Year.

This year’s award was given to Greg Wolff of Jordan Insurance Services.

His resume and experience is a perfect fit of the description we use to pick an agent of the year. Here’s what we heard a lot of when we did our research.

  • Goes out of his way to make sure everything works right
  • Does a great job
  • And then lots of he’s always helpful, always helpful, always helpful

And he’s a nice person. That comment came about 20 times in our research. Then we tried to get more focused on what makes him a great agent but all we got was more descriptions like:

  • Always happy
  • Always smiling
  • Fun and funny

His clients love him because he knows his stuff, and what he doesn’t know, he figures out very quickly. Companies like working with him. Underwriters like him.

Everyone likes him.

One person we talked with jokingly said all that positivity shouldn’t be allowed. But that’s who he is, and just one of the reasons he’s our 2025 PIA Montana agent of the year.

Our 2025 Company Person of the Year is Jack Rader with Farmers Alliance.

Each year PIA members benefit from the contributions of time, money and expertise that come from our insurance company partners.  In recognition of those contributions, the PIA honors one individual whose active involvement with PIA helps drive their company to support our efforts with our members.

He wasn’t able to attend the conference.

Jack is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Reinsurance, and Chief Marketing Officer. Jack joined Farmers Alliance in 1977 as a Claims Adjuster and has since held field and management positions in the Marketing Department. Jack manages the company’s’ reinsurance division and has since 1997.

Though his company isn’t a member, he and Farmer’s Alliance are huge supporters of PIA Montana and are always sponsoring PIA Montana events and conferences.

Agents working with Jack love working with him and the PIA Montana management loves working with Jack and with Farmer’s Alliance.
