First Connect issued its 2026 State of the Industry Report. It finds agent-insurer relationships improving and reports agents are seeing fewer challenges with carriers.

First Connect CEO Aviad Pinkovezky finds the changes very positive.
“These are not marginal shifts,” he said. “They are the strongest signal we have seen that the relationship between agents and carriers is moving away from transitional friction toward operational partnership.”
The report says this is what agents want from carriers:
Electronic signatures and document delivery — 18%
Real-time appetite indicators — 23%
Integrated quoting across multiple carriers — 20%
Automated data prefill for applications — 19%
