Robocall Scams Claiming to be Insurers — Rising

Transaction Network Service took a look at scam callers and insurance. A frightening 74% of consumers say they have noticed a jump in robocall scams from spammers claiming to be an insurance company.

The company found 69% of us would prefer any insurer contacting them brand their call. If a brand or a logo were displayed on the call screen, they’d be more likely to answer.

And 69% of those contacted say they’d pay more for services from a company offering higher levels of “customer protection.”
