The Healthiest Workplaces in America — 22 of them in the PIA Western Alliance States

According to the company, Healthiest Employers, 22 of the healthiest places to work in the U.S. are in the nine PIA Western Alliance states. In case you don’t know, the nine states are:

• *Alaska
• *Arizona
• *California
• *Idaho
• *Montana
• *Nevada
• *New Mexico
• *Oregon
• *Washington

The Healthiest Employers award list is titled, the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America.  It is comprised of companies who agreed to participate in the company’s application process. They’re scored by representatives in business, the medical community, wellness experts and academia.

The scores total 100 in each of these areas:

• *Culture and Leadership Commitment
• *Foundational Components
• *Strategic Planning
• *Communications and Marketing
• *Programming and Interventions
• *Reporting and Analytics

In addition to the scoring from the judges, the applicants also have to do an essay and respond to additional questions from Healthiest Employers.
