A lot of you know much of this information but many of you might not. Nationally, the average premium rate is going up about 3%. That’s without traffic violations on a record.

So knowing what a ticket costs in insurance terms is kind of important.

These are statistics you might want to send to your auto insurance clients. Regular contact with your clients is a good idea anyway, so why not send these numbers?

On average, Nissan vehicles are the most expensive to insurance. They run an average of $278 a month. The Nissan GT-R is one of the most expensive, non-luxury vehicles to insure. It runs around $400 a month.

Ford’s Bronco is the least expensive running a monthly rate of $76.

The insurance comparison website, The Zebra looked at how much tickets, and other violations impact auto insurance premiums. It’s an interesting list:

Hit and run — Insurance premium rises 100%

DUI — Insurance premium rises 98%

Racing — Insurance premium rises 93%

Driving with a suspended license — Insurance premium rises 84%
