Everybody’s Talkin’ about the Weather — Spring’s Forecast

Posted By Gary Wolcott, Tuesday, March 24, 2020

The National Weather Service’s Climate Prediction Center says we’re going to have a rather ordinary Spring. There is a 65% chance of no El Nino or La Nina. That’s up from the 60% prediction a couple of weeks ago.

So what does that mean? El Nino brings warmer temperatures to Pacific waters and that fuels storms. La Nina brings more rain.

The chance of a neutral El Nino through the summer is 55%.
